TALTON….name that is synonymous with inspiration, encouragement & commitment, combined with the blessing of an inimitable voice and a contemporary style that stands out from the rest, mixed with the anointing of God....creates the recipe for success. His first single release, entitled “There” has received frequent radio airplay and rave reviews. Other songs from TALTON’s repertoire include “Can’t Get Enough”, “Why”, “What Would I Do”, and the signature track “Purposed”. TALTON’s smooth hip hop feel mixed with his roots in singing gospel quartet creates a style hard to be duplicated. TALTON has created a style of music that is accepted by the young and old, the saved and the unsaved with a musical array that varies from old school gospel, new wave soul, hip hop to a touch of reggae. TALTON’s step into the music industry as a solo artist comes after many years of singing with family and several quartet groups. Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida to a very musically inclined family, TALTON has touched the hearts of many since the age of 5 singing in his church choir. By the age of 10 he was leading songs and directing the choir. Throughout his teen years TALTON sang with gospel groups Redemption and Revelation. While God was still developing his gift, he appeared on the Bobby Jones Show, opened for the Canton Spirituals, Suwannee Quintet, Pilgrim Jubilees, the Violin Aires and most recently for national recording artist T-Bone. In 2004 & 2007, TALTON was also a nominee at the Palm Beach Gospel Music Awards for Best Male Vocalist. His God-given talents not only include singing, but also playing the keyboard, the drums and being called as an ordained preacher. “I believe that I should do the best I can. Whoever I am in the presence of I try to give everyone a positive outlook on life, no matter what the situation is.” TALTON notes. His purpose is to spread the Gospel through the music industry; to inspire the unsaved to want the experience of Jesus Christ and to encourage the saved. “All of us have issues, weaknesses and problems, but more than that we all have a purpose. Jesus is the one that will help our purpose come into fruition and He is the one that can help solve our problems. If we learn that no matter what we all have a purpose, we can get a better idea of how we can come together to help each other achieve our purpose in life
