Why would I want to be someone else
When I could be better by being myself
Why pretend to be someone I'm not
When I have something they haven't got

Cheating myself of the life I have to live
Deprives others of that only which I can give
I have much more to offer by being just me
Than walking around in someone else's shoes

Trying to live the life of another is a mistake
