James Daniels

À propos de James Daniels

James R. Daniels II is an Urban Gospel artist, originally from Chicago, IL, home of Gospel music legends. He believes that the Lord placed a calling on his life to minister to God's people through song. He is dedicated and remains obedient to ministering to those who don't know Christ as their Savior or to those who simply need a word from the Lord.

James has opened for some of Gospel and Christian music's finest such as KJ-52 and Fred Hammond and performed throughout the MD/VA/DC Metropolitan area. James currently lives in Culpeper, VA with his lovely wife, Patrina and their two sons, James and Kendall. The Daniel's Family currently attends Heritage Fellowship United Church of Christ under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Norman A. Tate.

James' personal testimony is, "We have a wonderful opportunity everyday to be ministers of the Gospel and we don't know what a word from God will do to those around us. We have power. God gave it to us. Death and Life are in the power of the tongue; let's use it responsibly. It is my sincerest hope that God will use me in such away that people will come to know Him in a more personal way. Whether it is on a national or local level, I want to take what God has given me and give it back to His people. That for me is the real blessing... The gift is in giving God and His people my very best."

James has released two CD's, the first in 2003, "You're The Reason" and this year 2005 "We Need You Now. His latest CD is a more Urban Contemporary Gospel collaboration with up and coming Holy Hip-Hop artist in the DC/MD/VA area. XM Satellite Radio' Spirit 33 has picked up two of James' songs, "We Need You Now" and "Oh How We Welcome You." "Oh How We Welcome You" is charting weekly on their playlist. Known for being one who is able to adapt to different styles of Gospel music, the best is yet to come from this multi-talented artist.

This latest project was birthed from a question that was asked to me in a Youth Revival. A young lady asked me, "What do Saved Teens listen to?" I had no answer... We are quick to tell young folks what they shouldn't listen to, but are we providing them with something in exchange for what we are taking away. This is just one man's effort to give them something... in exchange for what they know.
