About Cy

Biography

Although Cy was born and raised in New Orleans, he is far from what you'd expect an artist in the Cajun City to sound like. His ability to make tracks, write lyrics, and deliver hard-core rhymes makes him a well-rounded artist. On his debut release The Complex, you will be amazed by his ability to speak metaphorically yet still deliver a clear message in his songs. His raspy voice and controlled whisper style may remind listeners of secular counterparts Method Man and Busta Rhymes. His quick rhyme delivery and ability to twist words together like a "CYclone", is actually how he got his name.

Cy's lyrical content deals with spiritual warfare, unity, encouragement, love, sin, and hip-hop to name a few. He has the ability to write lyrics boldly and then disperse them with a smooth-yet-tough delivery. If you like it rugged and raw, yet clear and understood, then you'll love Cy.

CY is currently gearing up to launch his sophomore cd entitled, "Circus World Event....The Ringleader." His growth as an emcee and lyricists is evident when comparing him to his older work. CY now has the complete package as an artist. A creatively composed masterpiece,"Circus World Event....The Ringleader" is by far CY's greatest musical accomplishment.
