Feeling the Lords presence in HOLY HIP_HOP |

crazy how people take their preference of music and try to talk down or not accept different ways to praise the Lord. The Lord can do the impossible and he will use whatever he wants to bring people to him. Before I was born again, I only listen to hip-hop and old school R&B. I grew up singing solos of traditional gospel songs in church since I was three years old, but when I went to college I went the opposite way from God. So when I got saved, I still wanted to hear some hip-hop and R&B but I wanted to hear the GOSPEL in it. Now, I write all type of Christian music, but when I rap, it's like I'm preaching my testimony and the gospel. When Flame, Lecrae, da Truth, Cross Movement and Sho Baraka rap, these guys are preaching the the gospel! Thank you Lord for giving us the gift of poetry and calling us to use it for your KINGDOM. What ever feed your spirit, let it feed your spirit. Don't matter if it's traditional, country, or rock N roll, as long the TRUTH of the gospel is in it, PRAISE GOD.
