Lil La La is more than a 5’2 petite female from sunny San Jose, Ca. She’s a minister, mentor, and a soldier for the army of the Lord. Lil La La combines her Jesus swagga with hitting beats and penetrating lyrics to get Gods point across about the truth, the Gospel to all willing and unwilling to hear. Off stage Lil La La loves to study her word and is active in her youth department at Emmanuel Baptist Church where she has been a member for 29 yrs. Lil La La also enjoys hosting free quarterly concerts for the community. “We can’t reach everyone in the church. Sometimes you have to take it to the street and really push the truth on the block.” On stage, Lil La La is one of the hottest emcees most would never imagine. Her strong aggression, brings the attention of her listeners, and as she allows Christ to speak through her, you cant help but catch the message that is going forth. Lil La La also speaks at youth conferences, outreach ministries. Her love is her youth. Lil La La will begin seminary at Lancaster Bible College Fall 2008 where she will receive her BA in Bible and then will attend Philidelphia Bible University to receive her Masters of Divinty with a focus on Youth Leadership. Lil La La grew up in a Christian household but fell into the trap of wanting to fit in. She received Christ in 1999 after going through all the ups and downs of life. Hip-Hop has always been in her veins but today's difference is she doesn't use it to speak death, but to speak life.
