FOR ALL MEN

By gooch144, 2007-03-25

How many times have you mentioned to someone that you are a Man?Whether it was, "I'm a man, I take care of my kids." Or have you ever screamed at your girl after getting disrespected, "Im a Man!!!!" I wonder do we say it out loud to others cause they problably don't know that we are Men, or do we say it because We don't know if we qualify to be called a Man.  I've noticed there's alot to being a Man.  And sometimes I feel like I fall short of being one.  Now, I realized I'm always a man, but because I'm a Man, I have many different roles throughout the day. First and foremost when I wake up I'm a Servant of God which effects my character in every role I play. I wake my children up and feed them cause I'm a Father. At work I'm a Telephone Repair Man.  I'm a Big Brother to the young thugs around the way, trying to keep them from making some of my past mistakes. Older or younger, maturity is a state of mind usually inspired by life experiences or acquired knowledge, not an age.  I'm a Son to a mother who has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and calls me for strength and spiritual guidance.  In the studio and on stage I'm 3rd Rail (Hip Hop Artist), one half of People's Choice; speaking life through music.  And to my family apon returning home for the day, I am a Provider, Protector and a Husband.  And those are just some of my roles.  For such a small word; Man has many responsiblilities that make him complete. So Men, always encourage your brother before he becomes weak while role playing. Peace.
