Yamie is orignally from Southern Florida where at an early age, she was called into the ministry of song. At the tender age of 4 she took her first step towards public mininstry which would eventually lead her to become active as a praise dancer, youth leader, praise team leader, choir director and propelling her into her own individual Gospel Artist ministry. In 2005, upon accepting her acceptance to the University of Florida, Yamie became a member of the Kamp of David, a holy hip hop gospel group founded in Gainesville, Fl, where she was developed as a Holy Hip Hop/Soul Gospel artist. While there, she would write and be featured on many music projects/collaborations such as D.King's "Blood Certified" album, Amayas' "State of Mind" album, and Kingdom Sonz "Held Accountable" album. After graduating, she relocated to the Atlanta, Georiga area so that she may continue doing the will of God and is now getting ready to release her 1st solo project entitled "ATHEMS FOR LIFE", an album dedicating to giving people motivation to "fight the good fight of faith". This album is truly inspirational and God is truly using Yamie to inspire people of all ages.
