(Atlanta, GA)September 30, 2008 marked a great day in the history of Platinum Souls. After
6 ½ years of a hip hop & poetry merger that has produced 7 mix
tapes, 1 compilation, 2 dvd’s, approximately 200 annual engagements at
churches, colleges, and clubs, and several international television

atop the U.S. R&B/ Hip Hop Billboard Charts for 21 weeks and peaked
at #2, the r&b tinged: “Oh” (featuring: David “Davinch” Chance,
formerly of Ruff Endz), the hip hop anthem to living a low-stress life:
“Let it Go”, and the classic spoken word piece: “Superhero”, “Hybrid” is the album fans, old and new, will still be rocking decades from now.
Known for releasing mix tapes that have highlighted some of the hottest artists, Platinum Souls raises the bar on “Hybrid” by
bringing in not only crooner David “Davinch” Chance, but feature
appearances by: J-Mal, Erica Cumbo, TrePeace, D’Angel, and Ja’el.
