DETROIT, MI (September 30, 2016) – Karew Records releases the GEI LIVE album, now
available at all retail outlets.  Presented by Senior Pastor Bishop J. Drew Sheard
and multi GRAMMY®-winning gospel legend and First Lady Karen Clark Sheard – recorded
live from their Greater Emmanuel Institutional (GEI) C.O.G.I.C. in Detroit, MI – the
12 track album creates the pioneering bold Detroit gospel sound that has empowered
countless fans for several decades.

The lead single “Hang On” features GRAMMY®-nominee Kierra Sheard, backed by the GEI
Youth Choir, driving listeners to keep hanging on through any challenging tests of
faith.  The iconic Clark Sisters bring their fierce passion to the album with “Look
To the Hills”. Other standout songs include solo turns from Karen Clark Sheard,
Bishop J. Drew Sheard, Dorinda Clark Cole, along with a bonus 13th track with
Elbernita “Twinkie” Clark, called “I’m Delivered”, which is available as a bonus
with all digital albums.

Produced by J. Drew Sheard II and Derrick Starks, the GEI LIVE album came together
during a late summer night last year in a packed house, delivering an unforgettable
live musical worship experience within the walls of the GEI church, backed by the
rich sounds of the 80-voice strong GEI Mass Choir.

Bishop Sheard exclaims, “This project will bless your entire family. All
generations. Get ready for a total GEI experience!” And First Lady Karen Clark
Sheard declares, "If you are looking for inspiration, consolation, and want to be
ministered to, I assure you this GEI Live project will provide all of the above and
more. Expect to be blessed as you listen
